About us
MasjidHQ is a small team based in New Jersey. We build software that helps mosques receive, record, and report every gift.
Why we built MasjidHQ
Many mosques are run by volunteers who give their evenings to this work. Through his mosque outreach, Zubair kept seeing the same problems: treasurers reconciling cash, checks, and online gifts by hand; donors waiting weeks for year-end tax receipts; and boards with no easy way to check the totals. The tools we found were either made for other kinds of organizations or hard for volunteers to learn. We started MasjidHQ to give the people who run a mosque’s finances one clear record of every gift: built with them, honest about what it does, and easy to leave.
How we work
-
Your money stays yours
Gifts go to your mosque’s own Stripe account and bank account. We never hold donor funds.
-
Numbers you can check
We design every report so your treasurer and board can check it, gift by gift.
-
Donors are not the product
We don’t sell data, run ads, or track your donors around the web.
-
Built with treasurers
We build alongside the volunteers who do the work, and we change MasjidHQ based on what they tell us.
-
Easy to leave
Your data exports to CSV at any time, your Stripe account stays yours, and terms are month-to-month.
